"A week ago, I damaged the tailgate on my Lincoln MKC. A self-inflicted damage (tailgate open and higher than garage opening while backing up). You cam imagine my mental state as I had no-one to blame but myself. Moreover I did it all on my property, not even in traffic. I filed the claim 48 hours ago. My car is now in the hands of Gerber Collision in Des Plaines. The damage will cost over $2600. But I will only pay $500. Just like the commercial says: "Like a good neighbor..." Todd Markman"s office is right on top of it. Sally from their office reached out to me to ask if I needed anything, or had any questions. Both State Farm and their contracted agent (Gerber) have been phenomenal. I have been given an ETA for repair completion. They each have been texting me and advising of the status of my claim.
